RIT eye to eye friction hitch prusiks from Sterling Rope. RIT eye to eye prusiks are a popular friction hitch device for professional arborists. These prusiks have two tightly sewn eyes, which fit snugly over many oval carabiners, to keep everything nice and tidy. RIT is made from a combination of Aramid and Polyester fibers for the sheath, with a polyester core, which give it great heat tolerance, high abrasion resistance, and nice gripping features. 8mm RIT works best with 7/16" (11.0mm - 11.7mm) climbing rope.

Recommended Uses: friction hitch for climbing, shorter lengths are used as a hitch pruskik for adjustable safety lanyards.
