If you want to slab big logs with a chainsaw, the Logosol Big Mill LSG is a great option for you. The Big Mill LSG kit consists of two Timberjig sawmills joined together with a Big Mill LSG mounting set. The Big Mill LSG works on the same principal as an Alaskan sawmill. First, you fix something straight onto the top of the log (ladder, slabbing brackets, etc) as a guide. This will guide the first cut. Then you take the next cut, using the surface of the first cut as a guide, much like a cheese slicer. Maximum cutting width is approximately 40" (100cm) which requires a 48" bar. Maximum depth of the cuts is 8" (20cm). The length of cut is unlimited. You can either cut wide, rough-edged boards, or saw beams that are then cut into ordinary edged planks and boards, using one of the TimberJigs. Provided that the first cut is perfect, the Big Mill LSG cuts large logs with very high precision. Most Big Mill LSG kits use a saw with a 36" (90cm) long guide bar, which can make a 30" (75cm) wide cut. As with the Timberjig, the Big Mill LSG quickly bolts to almost all chainsaws with standard (non-full wrap) handlebars. We recommend using chainsaws no smaller than 90cc for milling wide slabs, and a ripping chain is recommended if you require a smooth lumber surface. We also recommend using a battery powered drill for assembly and a peavy to help turn the logs. Manual included.

Note: Will not attach to Stihl 088, MS 880 without a pair of M10 extender nuts
