About Bailey's

Bailey's was founded in 1975 by Bill and Judith Bailey in the small town of Laytonville, California. Bill was contract cutting at the time, and was having difficulty locally sourcing the products he needed for work. Figuring he was not the only one in need of a solution, they started Bailey's in their garage. In the early years, Bailey's consisted of a handful of family members selling logging supplies from a small black and white catalog. With continued success and the broadening of product lines over the years, Bailey's grew to be a premier supplier of chainsaws and accessories, tree care products, work clothing, and forestry equipment.

Today, Bailey's is strategically located near the I-5 and I-80 corridors in Woodland, California. With nearly 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, customers all over the United States are assured quick and efficient delivery of their orders. A retail outlet is available as well for local customers looking to pick up their orders on-site or bring in heavy equipment for repairs.

Increased space and continued growth have allowed us to expand our selection of traditional product lines, while adding a variety of top quality arborist essentials. We have a complete rope splicing shop for custom work located in our Woodland warehouse as well, making us a one stop shop for all of your arborist and tree care needs.

Bailey's also offers a complete selection of portable sawmilling equipment ranging from chainsaw powered to production Lucas Mill swing blade sawmills and dedicated slabbers. We also offer the Wravor product line of stationary sawmill equipment, for those who want to run a commercial sawmill operation.

We now offer industrial equipment sales and service for the Western US, with equipment ranging from the Albach whole tree chipper to the Ponsse cut to length logging equipment. Our industrial equipment is located at our Woodland warehouse, and financing options are available for most industrial product lines.

Despite the growth and expansion that Bailey's has consistently experienced over the years, Bailey's is still very much a family business. The small family atmosphere present at the beginning remains today, and we continue to provide the superior customer service that our customers have relied on since the beginning.
