Fanno hand saws have been popular with tree care professionals for decades. This Fanno hand saw is made from rigid 18 gauge specially formulated saw steel, which is machined and sharpened here in the U.SA. This saw also comes with a gullet tooth design, which cuts very rapidly in soft woods, due to the improved chip clearance. The large contoured laminated hardwood handle guards against knuckle scuffs and bruises. These saws are designed for years of use, and can be resharpened with a 6" cant file.
