Designed with a classic denim look in mind, these Clogger Denim Chainsaw Protection Pants not only look good but have the hidden benefit of chainsaw protection. Clogger's first chainsaw protective pant designed for a more traditional, laid back look. Clogger Denims uses Arrestex HP advanced chainsaw protection material which is lightweight (only 2lb-3oz) yet tough and abrasion resistant with stretch that is flexible for easier movement. Classic Denim pocket styling with 2 front, 2 back and a zipped phone pocket on the leg. Opening in bottom hem of both legs for removal of debris. Extra-large belt loops to fit a 2” belt. Available in front protection style only. Straight jean cut with regular fit through hip and thigh and straight through the leg. Note: Denims do not have an elasticized waist so tend to run small compared with their other chainsaw pants. Certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to ASTM F1897-20 for USA and meets OSHA regulation 1910-266.

Chainsaw protective pants and chaps contain material designed to reduce the risk or severity of an injury, and give the operator extra reaction time when contact is made by a moving saw chain. The cut retardant material is designed to "pull" apart and clog up the sprocket system of a gas powered chainsaw and slow or stop the chain from rotating depending on the speed of the chain, length and angle of contact and the power of the saw. Protective pants and chaps should never be considered safer than proper and correct chainsaw handling safety procedures. Chainsaw pants and chaps are designed for gas powered chainsaws and will not stop the sprocket on most electric powered chainsaws. |
