Professional wood carving kit from King Arthur's Tools. The Merlin2 is the latest long neck electric mini-grinder from King Arthur. The Merlin2 has been completely re-engineered inside and out. This upgraded version utilizes spiral gears to work harder, operate more quietly and produce less vibration than the previous model. Safety improvements include a one-piece cast aluminum safety guard that is both safer and more durable, a switch guard to reduce accidental starting, and more resilient materials less susceptible to damage. The exterior includes a textured neck for better grip and an ergonomic design for comfort with less hand, arm and wrist fatigue during use.

The interior includes a new motor that powers effortlessly between 0 - 13,000RPM's with improved efficiency and can be powered by an automobile's AC/DC power converter. A new high-capacity fan and extra air vents on both the neck and bottom allow the new model to stay cooler and work longer. The universal sets include the Merlin2 with 11 discs (8-tooth saw chain, coarse, medium and fine tungsten carbide discs, flat green carbide disc, cutoff wheel, and 5 flap disc sanders in 60, 120, 180, 320 and 600 grit), canvas storage bag and allan key.
