Lightweight forged aluminum snap hook from ArborMAX. Aluminum snap hooks are the prefered connector for today's lightweight climbing saddles with aluminum dee rings (Steel rope snaps tend to wear out the aluminum dee rings). Aluminum rope snaps have a 5-1/2" overall length with 1" eyes and 1" gate opening. Double action locking gate. Rated to 8,800 lbs (40kN).
