Logger tape nail from Bailey's. The Bailey Nail is named after Bill Bailey, the founder of Bailey's. Bill was a contract timberfaller in his early years, and spent a lot of time with a Spencer tape on his belt. He tried several different nail designs over the years, but when it came to overall performance, the modified horseshoe nail worked best. The "Bailey Nail" is simply a flattened horseshoe nail with a twist. The flat head allow for easy insertion into the log and the twist gives it strength. Simply install on your tape end loop with a squeeze from a set of pliers. A small piece of electrical tape can help keep it from sliding on the loop. Box of 100 nails.
