Oregon 18" ControlCut Bar & Chain Combo (22BPX 68 Drive Links) 183PXLBA074
SKU
OCC 18 MS63
Professional bar and chain combo from Oregon. ControlCut chainsaw bars are a professional built bar with a small radius nose. This makes for a narrow contour with reduced kickback potential. Made from laminated steel with an aluminum core, these bars are 20% lighter than traditional Oregon Pro-Lite bars. The newly designed sprocketnose tip resists spreading and wear and includes a debris shield which helps the bar withstand tough environments. LubriTec angled oil hole keeps your chain and guide bar oiled for less friction and longer life. ControlCut bars have replaced some of the older Oregon Pro-Lite product line. These ControlCut chainsaw bars only run .325" pitch chainsaw chain and we paired this one up with Oregon's 22BPX chain. A high-performance, low-kickback chain well suited for commercial cutters, arborists and occasional users. Enhanced grind geometry significantly improves out-of-box sharpness with substantial speed improvement in boring and bias (undercut) modes. The Micro-chisel design has a narrow radius corner that offer outstanding performance, durability and easy maintenance. The Vibe-Ban cutter heel reduces vibration at the handlebar by 25% or more. Like most Oregon chainsaw chain this style has LubriLink tie straps help keep oil where it's needed - on the chain. Sharpens with 3/16" file or 1/8" grinding wheel. 22BPX also features a bumper drive link which reduces kickback without sacrificing performance. It meets ANSI B175.1 standards for low-kickback saw chain.
